This study aims to examine and compare the learning patterns applied at SD Muhammadiyah Plus Batam Kota and SD Negeri 010 Nongsa, focusing on models, approaches, strategies, methods, learning media, assessment systems, and supporting-inhibiting factors. The study employed a descriptive-comparative qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Results show that both schools implement the Merdeka Curriculum with a student-centered learning approach; however, significant differences exist in their foundational philosophy: SD Muhammadiyah Plus integrates Islamic values (Al-Islam) and the spirit of Tajdid as the primary foundation alongside an international Cambridge program, whereas SDN 010 Nongsa emphasizes differentiated instruction, deep learning, and structured literacy-numeracy programs. Both schools utilize Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and discovery learning models, and incorporate digital technology in instruction. The findings provide insights into best practices from two distinct school contexts Islamic private and public schools as references for elementary school learning development.
