Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare principal leadership management in improving teacher performance at Cikopomayak 1 Public Elementary School and Cipining 2 Public Elementary School. The study used a qualitative approach with a comparative case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals and supported by documentation studies. Data analysis: Several studies indicate that the contribution of principal leadership to teacher effectiveness ranges from 15.1% to 56.7%. Furthermore, this impact can increase to 77.3% when synergistically supported by intermediary factors such as teacher job satisfaction and a positive school culture. The results of this study indicate that both principals implemented leadership strategies through academic supervision, effective communication, motivation, and teacher competency development. Despite differences in implementation, both schools share the same goal: improving teacher professionalism and performance.
