Learning Patterns in order to improve the Quality of Learning at SDN Margahayu XIX and SDIT El-Hurriyah, North Cikarang, Bekasi Regency

Abstract

This study aims to examine and compare the learning patterns implemented at SDIT EL-Hurriyah North Cikarang and SDN Margahayu XIX Bekasi City, Bekasi City. SDIT EL-Hurriyah was chosen as a more advanced school, while SDN Margahayu XIX was chosen as a comparison school that is still in the development stage. The study focused on aspects of learning models, approaches, strategies, methods, and learning media used by both schools. The research method used was qualitative-descriptive with a comparative study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with the principal and teachers, and analysis of learning documents. The results of the study show that SDIT EL-Hurriyah has implemented an innovative learning model based on student-centered learning by optimally utilizing digital technology, while SDN Margahayu XIX still relies on a conventional teacher-centered approach with limited learning media facilities. Significant differences were found in the use of active learning strategies, variations in teaching methods, and the use of technology-based media. The conclusions of this study provide implications for improving the quality of learning at SDN Margahayu XIX through the adoption of best practices successfully implemented at SDIT EL-Hurriyah.
