Implementasi Pendidikan Body Safety Melalui Metode Bernyanyi Dalam Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual Pada Anak Usia 4-6 Tahun di PAUD Riyadul Aulad

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious problem that requires preventive efforts from an early age through education appropriate to children's developmental characteristics. One approach is body safety education, which helps children recognize private body parts, understand body boundaries, and learn how to protect themselves from unsafe touches. This study aimed to describe the implementation of body safety education through singing among children aged 4–6 years at PAUD Riyadul Aulad, focusing on planning, implementation, learning media, and evaluation. This study employed a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and the school principal, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was examined through triangulation and member checking. The results showed that body safety education was integrated into daily lesson plans, particularly within the themes of self and family. The learning activities were conducted through body safety-themed songs accompanied by simple body movements, teacher explanations, and question-and-answer activities. The learning media included songs or audio, body-part picture cards, body movements, and puppets. The children showed good enthusiasm and participation during the activities. Evaluation was conducted through questions and answers and observation of children's responses and behavior. The main challenges were children's hesitation to talk about their bodies and limited learning time. These challenges were addressed through relaxed approaches, repeated singing activities, and simple language. Overall, the implementation of body safety education through singing at PAUD Riyadul Aulad was conducted well and provided enjoyable learning experiences that supported children's understanding of body protection and personal safety.
