The Effect of Reading Literacy on The Learning of Indonesian Class Five MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon of Bekasi City Students

Abstract

Based on the observation of researchers at the Bekasi City MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon school, researchers conducted an interview with fifth-class teachers at MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon City of Bekasi, that a lack of awareness of class V (five), in a pattern of reading literacy that affects the results of learning in Indonesian eyes. In this research issue, namely the lack of learning pattern of literacy reads to students, the lack of teacher directions in seeking information on the book and sometimes students still use the presence of teachers in Indonesian language learning. This study aims to find out there is no influence of literacy reading to the results of Indonesian class V (five) students at MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon Bekasi City MI. This study uses a quantitative and implemented method at MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon Bekasi City. The sampling technique is using random sampling that is calculated using the Nomogram and Harry King formula with a sample of thirty students at the Bekasi City MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon City. Data collection is taken through a questionnaire and the final value of second semester. The questionnaire used using the scale of likert. Before the data was analyzed, first tested the data analysis requirements using the normality test using liliefors and linieritas's test using a simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study and after being analyzed, it can be concluded that thitung tests obtained by 1.964. Significant Level a = 0.05 and unscathed = 30 is 1.70. Therefore, thitung is larger than the ttabel (1.964> 1.70), then H0 is rejected thus H1 is accepted. Thus, the analysis conclusion is that there is an influence between literacy reading the results of learning Indonesian class V (five) students at the Bekasi City MI Al-Ishlah Jatiranggon.
