Focus and Scope

Anakes: Jurnal Ilmiah Analis Kesehatan is a peer-reviewed and open access journal, which accepts original papers related to all aspects of medical technology laboratory including new concepts in medical technology/ methodology of relevance to the health analyst, biomedical sciences, ethical, legal, and social aspects of medical laboratory technology for publications.

Peer Review Process

The peer-review system in the "Anakes: Jurnal Ilmiah Analis Kesehatan" is through a double-blind review. All manuscripts submitted to the "Anakes: Jurnal Ilmiah Analis Kesehatan" will be peer reviewed at least two reviewers. The publication decision is made by the Editor based on the recommendation of the Reviewer and the consideration of the Editorial Board.

The submitted manuscript will be checked by an editor whether it is suitable with our focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw in two weeks. A staff will check whether the requirements are complete in one week. Authors will be given two weeks after notification is sent to complete the incomplete requirements. Failure to complete will make the manuscript rejected without being reviewed. Every submitted manuscript which passes this step will be checked by Similarity Check to identify any plagiarism. Then, an editor and an editorial assistant will be assigned to the manuscript. It will be reviewed by two reviewers double-blinded. At least one of the reviewer is appointed from other institutions (national). The manuscript will be sent to the reviewers anonymously. Reviewers’ comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated by the editor and the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author. Duration of the review process can be up to 2 until 4 week. Then, final approval is needed from the corresponding author before it is published in the upcoming issue.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its published articles, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All published articles are freely accessible online and can be read and downloaded without subscription or payment. Readers are not required to register or pay any fee to access the full text of published articles.

The use, distribution, and reproduction of published articles are subject to the applicable copyright and licensing terms stated on the journal website and in each published article.

The journal is committed to maintaining access to its published content and supporting the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge.

Journal History

Anakes : Jurnal Ilmiah Analis Kesehatan was first established in 2015. The journal is managed by the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Mohammad Husni Thamrin University. The Health Scientific Journal for the first time only used print journals and published two editions in one year (March and September). Along with the development and advancement of technology, the Scientific Journal of Health is an Open Journal System (OJS) by the name of the Scientific Jurnal Ilmiah Analis Kesehatan and began publishing in OJS in 2020.
