Abstract

Accurate, integrated, and easily traceable management of student achievement data is a strategic necessity for supporting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) II reporting and strengthening the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. However, achievement data management still faces various challenges, including data fragmentation across units, inconsistent recording formats, limited integration with KPI II reporting, and suboptimal use of data for data-driven decision-making. This research aims to produce an innovative product—the Integrated Student Achievement Management Information System (SIMPRESMAWA)—to support the processes of data collection, verification, classification, reporting, and monitoring of student achievements. The study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, comprising stages of needs analysis, system design, prototype development, validation, limited testing, evaluation, and product refinement. The first-year progress report focuses on mapping user needs, designing system workflows, structuring student achievement data, developing the KPI II dashboard design, and preparing for prototype testing. Targeted outputs include the SIMPRESMAWA prototype, system design documentation, a user manual, a scientific article in an accredited national journal, Intellectual Property Rights, and policy recommendations for information system-based student achievement management. Preliminary results indicate that SIMPRESMAWA has the potential to enhance the efficiency and accountability of student achievement data management through an integrated system, while sustainably supporting KPI II reporting and the quality culture at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. At this progress reporting stage, the research is directed toward Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 5–6, involving component validation and prototype demonstration in a limited operational environment.
