Abstract

The digitalization of production data monitoring for rubber seedlings and plants is important for supporting effective cultivation processes and plantation management. However, the recording process at PT. Kendi Arindo is still performed manually, causing several problems, including reporting delays, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in archiving and reviewing production information. This study aims to develop an Android-based application for the digitalization of production data monitoring for rubber seedlings and plants to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and organization of field recording processes. The system development method used in this study is Design Thinking, which consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages. This method was applied to understand user needs and design an application that addresses problems encountered in the field. The developed application enables officers to record, manage, and monitor production data quickly and systematically through Android devices. System testing was conducted using white-box testing to evaluate program logic and ensure that each function operated according to the designed specifications. The testing results showed that the application's main features functioned properly and met user requirements. The implementation results show that the application provides integrated features for recording, managing, validating, monitoring, and reporting production data. White-box testing showed that the program logic of the tested functions operated according to the system design. Therefore, the developed application provides a more structured and integrated system for managing production data and can be used as a digital medium for recording, monitoring, validating, and reporting production information at PT. Kendi Arindo.
