Design of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-Based Umrah Travel System for Teman Gravel Tour & Travel

Teman Gravel Tour & Travel continues to face challenges in managing pilgrim registration, required documents, payments, and the dissemination of departure schedule information due to the lack of an integrated information system. This study aims to design a Software as a Service (SaaS)-based Umrah Travel Information System to support the digitalization of pilgrim registration and departure schedule management. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Waterfall development model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation stages. The system was developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database and integrated with the Midtrans Payment Gateway service while implementing Role Based Access Control (RBAC) for user access management. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The results indicate that the system successfully integrates account registration, pilgrim registration, document management, online payments, departure schedule management, and operational reporting within a web-based platform accessible to Administrators, Pilgrims, and Management. All tested features functioned in accordance with the specified functional requirements, indicating that the system is feasible for implementation. This study contributes to the development of a Software as a Service (SaaS)-based Umrah travel information system that improves data management effectiveness and integrated service quality. For Gravel Tour & Travel, it is recommended to use the system consistently by performing regular maintenance and data updates, providing user training, and developing notification and monitoring features to enhance the quality of service provided to pilgrims.
