Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve students' argumentative writing skills in tenth-grade senior high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects of this study were tenth-grade students at a senior high school. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the developed learning media was categorized as very feasible based on expert validation results with an average percentage of 88.3%. In addition, the use of ICT-based interactive learning media proved effective in improving students' writing skills, as indicated by the increase in the average score from 65 in the pretest to 82 in the posttest. Students’ responses to the learning media were also categorized as very good, with a percentage of 89%. Thus, the developed ICT-based interactive learning media can be used as an alternative in Indonesian language learning to improve students' argumentative writing skills.
