Abstract

The development of information technology in public services has become one of the key efforts to improve service quality by making it more effective, efficient, and accessible to the public. One of its applications is in motor vehicle tax administration services, which require the timely and accurate delivery of information to taxpayers. This study develops an Android-based mobile application to remind taxpayers of motor vehicle tax payment deadlines and help them avoid late annual tax payments. Manual tax information management often causes taxpayers to forget payment schedules and lack awareness of tax due dates. The application was designed using the User Centered Design (UCD) method to ensure that it meets user needs through the stages of requirements analysis, design, evaluation, and implementation. The main features of the application include tax due-date reminders, automatic notifications, vehicle data management, and access to Samsat service information. The design results indicate that the application provides more effective reminders and assists taxpayers in managing vehicle tax information. Therefore, the application can support improved taxpayer compliance in making motor vehicle tax payments on time.
