Pregnancy during the third trimester was associated with various physical and psychological changes that could increase Pregnancy-Related Anxiety (PRA) and negatively affect sleep quality. Unmanaged anxiety might worsen sleep quality and adversely affect both maternal and fetal health. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Pregnancy-Related Anxiety and sleep quality among third-trimester pregnant women at Clinic Y, Gunung Putri, Bogor, in 2026. A quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted. A total of 110 third-trimester pregnant women were recruited using a consecutive sampling technique. Pregnancy-related anxiety was measured using the Pregnancy-Related Anxiety Questionnaire-Revised (PRAQ-R), while sleep quality was assessed using the Indonesian version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman's rank correlation test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that 61.8% of the respondents experienced mild anxiety, 30.0% experienced moderate anxiety, and 8.2% experienced severe anxiety. In addition, 59.1% of the respondents had good sleep quality, whereas 40.9% had poor sleep quality. Spearman's rank correlation analysis revealed a statistically significant and very strong positive relationship between Pregnancy-Related Anxiety and sleep quality (p = 0.000; r = 0.812). Poorer sleep quality was associated with higher anxiety levels. These findings suggested that routine screening for maternal mental health and sleep quality should be integrated into antenatal care to improve maternal and fetal well-being.
