Abstract

Worker compliance reflects how well individuals follow company regulations, procedures, and standards. Compliance is shown by following written procedures to ensure tasks are done effectively, efficiently, and safely. The level of worker compliance is influenced by predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors. Based on this, this study aims to determine the factors related to compliance with the implementation of OHS procedures among operational workers at the PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Regional 2 Tanjung Priok Passenger Terminal. This study uses a quantitative cross-sectional design. The sample used was 61 respondents. Data analysis using the chi-square test. The results of this study showed a relationship between knowledge (p= 0.001), attitude (p= 0.031), motivation (p= 0.044), and training (p= 0.001) with compliance with the implementation of OHS procedures. And there is no relationship between education factors (p=0.374), length of service (p=0.264), supervision (p=0.931), regulations (p=0.238) with compliance with the implementation of OHS procedures. Researchers recommend that companies provide refresher materials and updates on OHS information for workers with long service periods and hold regular counseling to build a work safety culture. And management needs to have the courage to reprimand employees to always comply with and obey OHS standard operating procedures (SOP).
