Employee performance is an important factor in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. This study aimed to analyze the effect of training and work environment on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Cianjur Regency. This study employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 employees using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3. The results showed that training had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a T-statistic of 7.720 and a P-value of 0.000. The work environment had no significant effect on employee performance, with a T-statistic of 1.524 and a P-value of 0.128. The R-Square value of 0.820 indicates that training and work environment explain 82.0% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 18.0% is explained by other factors not examined in this study. The study recommends improving training programs regularly and equitably, evaluating workload distribution, and maintaining a conducive work environment.
