Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding that informal education or non-academic is also important for early childhood development. The writer thinks that the role of collections at the National Museum as a medium for introducing and learning culture for early childhood becomes something that worth studying. The writing of this thesis uses a descriptive-qualitative method, starting with the stages of the research process such as observation, interviews, literature study, documentation and data processing. This research is expected to produce a model that the introduction and learning of culture through media collections for early childhood at the National Museum becomes very interesting, provides a positive and fun response for early childhood
