Emergency preparedness in school settings is crucial to preventing an increased risk of injury or death due to delays in providing first aid. Based on initial observations at SMP Muhammadiyah 36 Jakarta, most students and educators lack adequate knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations such as fainting, severe injuries, or sudden cardiac arrest. This situation highlights the need for empowerment efforts through targeted and ongoing training. This initiative aims to empower the Youth Health Cadres (KKR) through Basic Life Support (BLS) and triage training, enabling them to serve as the first line of defense in providing first aid and assisting with evacuation procedures during school emergencies. This training is also expected to foster awareness of the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and social responsibility among students as future young health cadres. The urgency of this activity stems from the increasing need for preparedness and emergency response capabilities within the school environment. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average knowledge of adolescent cadres regarding basic life support, from an average of 61.09 before the training to 97.61 after the training activity.
