Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of MSME companions through the implementation of the Training of Trainers (ToT) for MSME Companions of the 360 Mentorship Program in Karawang Regency. Behind this program is the lack of accompanying resources needed to conduct effective mentoring and coaching for MSME actors, especially related to challenges related to digitalization, business development, and increasing competitiveness. Training is provided using a participatory and experiential learning approach through interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, and field mentoring practices. The training materials include the concepts of mentoring and coaching, interpersonal communication, MSME mentoring strategies, business network development, and the application of Mentorship 360 as a comprehensive mentoring approach. The results of the implementation show that participants better understand and have the skills to carry out the MSME assistance function in a more systematic and practical manner. Participants will know how important a mentoring approach that focuses on business matters is in addition to increasing personal capacity, digital literacy, and business network building. This training also helps MSME mentors to be better and build a better and sustainable mentoring ecosystem in Karawang Regency because simulations and mentoring practices help participants improve their communication skills, find business problems, and create solutions that suit their needs.
