Strengthening High School Students' Digital Literacy through the Implementation and Training of School Information Systems

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) in the current digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. Strengthening digital literacy among high school students has become an urgent need along with the increasingly rapid development of information technology. This community service activity aims to improve students' understanding and skills in utilizing school information systems through structured and applicable training. The implementation method includes preparation, socialization, training in the use of web-based school information systems, and evaluation of students' level of understanding after the activity. Participants consisted of 50 students randomly selected from various classes at a public high school. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' digital literacy, marked by their ability to access, process, and utilize school information more effectively and efficiently. In addition, students also showed a high interest in using school information systems to support academic activities, such as attendance, grade access, and learning schedule information. The conclusion of this activity is that school information system training can be a strategic tool in strengthening high school students' digital literacy while supporting technology-based educational transformation. In the future, similar activities can be expanded to involve teachers, education staff, and other school parties so that the implementation of the school information system is more optimal, sustainable, and relevant to needs.
