Abstract

Food safety is the most important concern for consumers and food buissnesman, especially at D'Akeul Catering Bekasi City. Unsafe food will cause foodborne disease due to bacterial contamination. In order to obtain proper hygiene at D'Akeul Catering Bekasi, it is necessary to implement Hygiene and Sanitation. The aim of this community service activity is to educate food handlers about proper hygiene and sanitation with D'Akeul Catering Bekasi with the criteria stated in Minister of Health Regulation No. 14 of 2021. This community service activity was carried out on May 12 2024 and was attended by 21 participants consisting of business owners, chefs, kitchen staff and other catering staff.
