Focus and Scope

Jurnal Hospital Technology and Mechatronics is a peer-reviewed and open access journal that focuses on promoting health sciences generated from basic sciences, clinical, and community or public health research to integrate researches in all aspects of human health. This journal publishes original articles, reviews, and also interesting case reports. The scope of this journal encompasses to study health research regarding of:

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript will be checked by an editor whether it is suitable with our focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw in two weeks. A staff will check whether the requirements are complete in one week. Authors will be given two weeks after notification is sent to complete the incomplete requirements. Failure to complete will make the manuscript rejected without being reviewed. Every submitted manuscript which passes this step will be checked by Similarity Check to identify any plagiarism. Then, an editor and an editorial assistant will be assigned to the manuscript. It will be reviewed by two reviewers double-blinded. At least one of the reviewer is appointed from other institutions (national). The manuscript will be sent to the reviewers anonymously. Reviewers’ comments are also sent anonymously to the corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated by the editor and the final decision will be sent to the corresponding author. Duration of the review process can be up to 2 until 4 week. Then, final approval is needed from the corresponding author before it is published in the upcoming issue.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Hospital Technology and Mechatronics is a peer-reviewed journal. This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer­­­­­ and the publisher (Universitas Mohammad Husni Thamrin). This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society.

Universitas Mohammad Husni Thamrin as publisher of Jurnal ilmiah Kesehatan takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, Universitas Mohammad Husni Thamrin and Editorial Board will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.

Publication decisions

The editor of the Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
